One thing that the NCF has repeated annually since we began our newsletter in the 1990’s is to never, ever get vaccinated. Not only do CFIDS patients have a bad reaction to the flu shot, it also does not protect them from getting the flu. This past year (2017) was even worse. Children actually died after receiving the shot in California according to the Associated Press.

In 2016, Vicky Batts reported in the Abq Journal that “Top government scientists refuse to vaccinate their children.” She wrote that people would really find that not very surprising if they knew how harmful vaccines really were. The highest numbers of scientists are easy to find among those who work at national laboratories such as Los Alamos despite pro-vaccine activists. She quotes the Children’s Medical Safety Research Institute that says, “There is a large body of scientific evidence confirming numerous vaccine safety deficits that counteract well-publicized. For example, many studies show that thimerosal (mercury) and aluminum in vaccines can cause neurological, immunological and development harm, “ Vicky goes on to say, “The CDC itself conducted investigation on the harmful effects of certain ingredients in vaccines and found that they did in fact disrupt neurological development in young children.”

Is it just the flu vaccine to be wary of? Hardly. Just one example is from September 25th, 2017 when the former Vice President of Pfizer, Dr. Peter Rost, said that the Gardasil vaccine “is deadly”. So, once again, we remind our fellow members with CFIDS/ME to not get the flu vaccine despite the FDA recommending the “2018-2019 influenza vaccine strains.” In 2003, Charles M. Poser, MD, FRCF, a visiting Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, published a paper titled “Neurological Complications of Vaccinations.” In the paper, he wrote “Adverse reactions involving the nervous system from a wide variety of immunizations result from the same pathogenetic mechanism. They may affect any and all parts of the central and peripheral nervous systems.”
