WeCareToo website:  A website serving not-for-profit organizations and their supporters since January 1997.  Their goals are to assist charities and not-for-profit organizations by giving them free WWW publicity and help in raising funds, to offer businesses low cost advertising and links to their own e-mail and web sites, and to offer consumers the chance to receive discounts, gifts and other incentives from participating advertisers and also place free classified ads on the WWW.

CFIDSandFMSingles (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Fibro.Singles): A discussion group for patients with CFIDS and Fibromyalgia to express themselves, make friends, relationships, and hopefully to find romance.

The Chronic Pain Forum:   The Chronic Pain Forum provides a resource for patients, caregivers, and professionals dealing with chronic pain from any cause.  The website also has information about another list that they moderate for those with a specific kind of chronic pain -- Headaches.   They have two email lists for chronic pain in general:  The Chronic Pain Forum and the Chronic Pain Forum-Chat; details about each list are available on the website.  The website provides a dictionary of links to the best information (they have found) and it is organized into areas that are of interest to those with chronic pain.

M.E. Support:   A friendly, informal ‘online community’ offering a Chat Room, Friendship List, Mailing List and Message Forum in addition to Articles, References & Resources on a vast array of subjects related to M.E. (also known as PVFS/ CFS/ CFIDS) and other fatiguing illnesses.  

RESACT on Yahoo Groups:   This is an un-moderated list for discussions focused on the politics, advocacy, and research of ME (often labeled CFS or CFIDS) .

They monitor hundreds of publications and websites to keep arthritis and fibromyalgia patients and professionals up to date on the latest news, treatments, drugs  and other information.   Of specific interest, their fibromyalgia page and their link to www.youcantoocan.com an online source for home health products to make daily self-care easier, safer and more comfortable.

CFSResearch.org: A website providing research articles on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, and Rickettsia Infections.  All listed articles on the site are in Full Text and were taken from well known Scientific / Medical Journals. For each article, there's an abstract available with a link to the publisher's site.  Click here to search their archives.

Co-Cure (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Fibromyalgia Information Exchange Forum):  A website and mailing list established with the goal of furthering co-operative efforts towards finding the cure for the illness commonly referred to as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FM).  Because of the overlap in symptom profiles, they also welcome as members those individuals interested in or affected by Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Gulf War Syndrome, and auto-immune conditions. However, at least at this time, they limit the nature of the information suitable for posting to that which is directly relevant to CFS and FM.  This is an excellent information-only source (i.e. it is not a discussion group) for breaking news, medical journal abstracts, and generally relevant announcements.  Click here to search their archives of past posts.

HHV-6:  This web site is about the virus HHV-6 -- its history and the implications for CFIDS/ME (as well as AIDS and Multiple Sclerosis).  It features a daily cartoon for CFIDS/ME.

LookDirectory.com: a comprehensive human-edited web directory and internet resource site featuring a searchable directory where visitors can find, rate and comment on sites. 

NetWellness:  A non-profit, non-commercial consumer health website that provides high quality information created and evaluated by medical and health professional faculty at the University of Cincinnati, Case Western Reserve University and Ohio State University. NetWellness features include easy to understand information on hundreds of health topics, current health news, a reference library and an Ask an Expert feature where visitors  are able to question the site's faculty experts on some 60 medical subject areas and obtain individual responses to all questions usually within two to three days.  The NCF won the Netwellness Consumer Health Information Award for our website!

Wisconsin Viral Research Group:  A certified medical laboratory focusing on a combination of virology research and diagnostic testing.  This web site is about Human Herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6).

CFS Radio Transcripts - For three years (April 1999 - January 2000) the CFS radio show presented information on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome from some of the most renowned CFS researchers in the world. Access Rhode Island This organization verifies and lists on their website the level of handicap accessibility for Rhode Island restaurants, museums, cinemas and cultural sites.  It's a grass roots effort to verify how accessible each business is, so the list is growing all the time. 

BRAME:  Originally started in the UK, BRAME is now a world-wide network with contacts in 21 countries.  The organization's goal is to educate society and create a greater awareness and understanding of ME/CFS.

National Gulf War Resource Center, Inc. - The National Gulf War Resource Center is an international coalition of advocates and organizations providing a resource for information, support, and referrals for all those concerned with the complexities of Persian Gulf War issues, especially Gulf War illnesses and those held prisoner or missing in action.
