M.E. is little-known and often misunderstood but it is an extensive and debilitating neurological disease. — A website and mailing list established to further co-operative efforts toward finding the cure for the illness commonly referred to as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FM). Because of the overlap in symptom profiles, they also welcome as members those individuals interested in or affected by Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Gulf War Syndrome, and auto-immune conditions. However, at least at this time, they limit the nature of the information suitable for posting to that which is directly relevant to CFS and FM. This is an excellent information-only source (i.e. it is not a discussion group) for breaking news, medical journal abstracts, and generally relevant announcements. NetWellness — A non-profit, non-commercial consumer health website that provides high quality information created and evaluated by medical and health professional faculty at the University of Cincinnati, Case Western Reserve University and Ohio State University. NetWellness features include easy to understand information on hundreds of health topics, current health news, a reference library and an Ask an Expert feature where visitors are able to question the site's faculty experts on some 60 medical subject areas and obtain individual responses to all questions usually within two to three days. The NCF won the Netwellness Consumer Health Information Award for our website!
